Live at The Garage, Highbury
In 2005 the band formed with Edward Dutton on drums, Joe Nicholson on guitar, Eva and James Spence on vocals and Joseph Thorpe on bass guitar. Not long after forming, the band had written and produced some songs and started performing them in clubs and pubs. They spent a short while developing a three track demo CD. The demo CD was sold at the clubs, earning the group a little money; it was produced under James Spence’s own record label Mayday! They then continued to produce an EP with the Mirror! Mirror! record label. The band then signed with Holy Roar records and released a self titled EP with some songs from the demo and with additional new songs.
Rolo Tomassi were offered a slot to perform at the June 2008 Download festival. They performed at many festivals, making a name for themselves all over the world. At the end of October 2009 the band flew to America to record their second album. The album was titled Cosmology and was released on the May 24 2009. It entered at number 183 on the UK album chart.
The band are known to perform everywhere and anywhere as they try and make a name for themselves. They have been and can be seen at many festivals up and down the country and Rolo Tomassi tickets are expected to sell well.
Between the releases of both albums, the band have changed their style quite notably, becoming more experimental. They are extremely talented and Rolo Tomassi tickets are extremely popular within the United Kingdom.
