Tickets are now available for Rumors Reimagined by The Belgrave House Band at The Garage.
The band are a collective of virtuoso musicians bourne out of the burgeoning Leeds Jazz & Soul scene, with members from Tetes De Pois, Mamilah, Skwid Ink, B-Ahwe and the Tight Lines label.
The 8-piece reimagine classic albums with incredible attention to detail, and a bouncing energy that takes a unique look at the past while delivering exciting shows very much set in the present. Their nights have become ‘must-see’ events at the Leeds based Belgrave Music Hall itself and right across the UK, as the band.
In their past they have covered ‘The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill’, ‘Baduizm’, ‘The Writing’s On The Wall’, ‘The Love Below’ and a double show of Amy Winehouse’s ‘Frank’, all to sold out audiences, and with each show featuring guest appearances, giving a unique sound and dynamic.
The recent ‘Rumours’ tour dates saw wild audience reaction, “The best gig I’ve ever been too”, “They were absolutely insane”, with 3 SOLD OUT shows in Leeds in their resident home (400 capacity), 422 at ‘The Blues Kitchen’ in Manchester, 350 in Farsley’s ‘The Woollen Mill’, and 340 at ‘The Abbeydale Picture House’ in Sheffield. Such was the response and feedback they’ve decided to tour the show nationally.
This is not a tribute band per-se, this is a wonderful re-working of one of THE most critically acclaimed, highest grossing, and culturally significant albums of all time, and a chance to engage with a band that embrace the masterpiece and re-work it beautifully.
“…that was fabulous, energy, talent, joy in bucket loads”
